Thanks for your Service, Adam!
Air Force Veteran here.
I am so excited by this it’s bloody ridiculous...I know there’s a good chance it’ll blow up in our faces, because it’s the Leafs, after all, but for now I’m going to enjoy this moment *single tear*
I read (somewhere) that Season 2 airs in April 2016.....(sobbing!)
Tobias did amazing work in this episode, but let’s be clear, Caitriona and especially Sam (Claire and Jamie) were brilliant as well. This was masterful acting. I knew it was coming, but it still ripped me to shreds. All the Emmys to the cast for this.
Except for the recent biker series (I just can’t, I tried, I can’t) I’ve read everything she’s written, including her Meg Maguire stuff, which isn’t as good, for some reason.
Check out Elizabeth Hoyt.
Yeah, I’ve started to suspect the woman that raised me was schizophrenic. She absolutely refused to get any kind of help, though. Insisting that, no, all her batshit abusive behavior was “the will of God.”
I know. I came back and read all these replies...and felt like I suddenly wasn’t so alone. <3
My mom is mentally ill, and did a lot of damage to me because she wasn’t treated until she was almost sixty (I’m still not sure she ever got the correct treatment, but whatever). But I find that I’m angrier at the members of my family who knew the things that went on and did absolutely nothing to help me when I was…
The way she bites off words with her teeth and raises her chin when she is being strong... It really reminds me of Jenny from the books. They cast her just about perfectly. She is exactly how I pictured her. I also must say, she really nailed the childbirth thing, IMHO. My husband was cringing and looking away LOL.
I totally agree, and I also can’t wait to see who they cast next season. Assuming they're structuring the show the same as the book...
Y’all...Claire got her vase. CLAIRE FINALLY GOT HER VASE!!! And a real home to put it in. I wept like a baby when she turned it over in her hands, smiling. It was such a sweet moment and it was so nice that they didn’t throw voiceover at it.
I really liked this episode. Laura Donnelly was outstanding as Jenny, and I look forward to her and Claire getting to know each other better. I missed Jamie’s (book) “Merde” as he became aware of the redcoats, but Sam’s French is not all that great so maybe it was better left out. I must admit I liked redcoat one’s…

I worked on a talk show for a few years and Fabio was the guest. I was not always fond of talent, but I have to say that Fabio was really one of the nicest guests we had on the show. He was gracious and considerate. A friend wanted me to take picture of them and then asked if I wanted one. I wasn't particularly…
I love that Fabio is on the cover of Flowers from the Storm. It's so incongruous, since it's a book about a stroke victim who is trying to woo a Quaker. That book is fantastic.
Curious... how many romance novels from the last five years have you read?
Hell yeah, I'd give anything to see some of Kresley Cole's books adapted. They're more paranormal erotica, but...all the better, you know?
