Thanks for your Service, Adam!

Air Force Veteran here.

I am so excited by this it’s bloody ridiculous...I know there’s a good chance it’ll blow up in our faces, because it’s the Leafs, after all, but for now I’m going to enjoy this moment *single tear*

I read (somewhere) that Season 2 airs in April 2016.....(sobbing!)

Tobias did amazing work in this episode, but let’s be clear, Caitriona and especially Sam (Claire and Jamie) were brilliant as well. This was masterful acting. I knew it was coming, but it still ripped me to shreds. All the Emmys to the cast for this.

Except for the recent biker series (I just can’t, I tried, I can’t) I’ve read everything she’s written, including her Meg Maguire stuff, which isn’t as good, for some reason.

Oh now come on, they found him somewhere stay before....oh, not that kind of quartering :)

Check out Elizabeth Hoyt.

Yeah, I’ve started to suspect the woman that raised me was schizophrenic. She absolutely refused to get any kind of help, though. Insisting that, no, all her batshit abusive behavior was “the will of God.”

I know. I came back and read all these replies...and felt like I suddenly wasn’t so alone. <3

But I find that I’m angrier at the members of my family who knew the things that went on and did absolutely nothing to help me when I was

The way she bites off words with her teeth and raises her chin when she is being strong... It really reminds me of Jenny from the books. They cast her just about perfectly. She is exactly how I pictured her. I also must say, she really nailed the childbirth thing, IMHO. My husband was cringing and looking away LOL.

I totally agree, and I also can’t wait to see who they cast next season. Assuming they're structuring the show the same as the book...

Y’all...Claire got her vase. CLAIRE FINALLY GOT HER VASE!!! And a real home to put it in. I wept like a baby when she turned it over in her hands, smiling. It was such a sweet moment and it was so nice that they didn’t throw voiceover at it.

I really liked this episode. Laura Donnelly was outstanding as Jenny, and I look forward to her and Claire getting to know each other better. I missed Jamie’s (book) “Merde” as he became aware of the redcoats, but Sam’s French is not all that great so maybe it was better left out. I must admit I liked redcoat one’s

yes

All of my sadness. I don't know that it 'suddenly' got interesting, but it suddenly got meatier peachier- the narrative was getting tighter and the mysteries were starting to form a cohesive serialization.

I'm glad there are some terrible movies that should *not* be rewatched.

Seriously, Star Wars Episode 1 was such a let down. The plot was incoherent, the acting was terrible, the ...
