I love Murtagh in this episode and wish we could have seen more of him, or perhaps just get him to repeat the word "spirits" over and over. Very sexy.

I blushed during the sex scenes. I don't think I have ever seen sex depicted in such a real way, or where the focus has been equally on the man. I particularly liked how the first time was so quick and awkward.

I just saw a video on eonline's website that says it was the wedding dress that was uncomfortable for Catriona Balfe. It has 20 yards of fabric in it, and they had to build a special chair and retrofit a golf cart to help her out, because it is so heavy!

Well, not sure he loves her, but he definitely wants to grind her corn!

Book SPOILER:

A lot of book fans just shorten it to JAMMF.

I think in this case they need the time to actually get the episodes ready - they are still filming, although it sounds like this week or next will complete filming. Maril Davis, one of the producers, tweeted today that it is the 200th day of filming.

I believe in the book the alternative was a marriage by contract, i.e. they would fill out the paperwork and be legally married, but Jamie is a religious guy and wants the church's blessing. Also from the book, hand fasting was only good for a year, at which point you either had it blessed by the church or went your

I really love Rupert (and Angus, when he is not angry). The actor who plays Rupert seems as funny in real life on his Twitter account. Someone on another blog referred to Rupert and Angus in this episode as Lenny and Squiggy, and I think it fits.

Book SPOILER, sort of:

SPOILERS - do not read unless you have read the book!

It is in iTunes under "Outlander: The Official Podcast", but I see they only have up to episode 5 there. They are also on the Starz website, including the one for episode 6: http://www.starz.com/originals/outl…

I have read all of the novellas, etc. Most involve Lord John, who is very popular in his own right. There is also a book, The Scottish Prisoner, which is really good, but you don't want to read until at least after you have read book 3 of the Outlander series. I don't want to say anything else about it, in case I

Yes. I am in my 50s, currently trying to lose weight. I go to a trainer twice a week, and I am walking and hiking 3 or 4 other days. It is impossible to find fitness gear in my size. Sometimes REI has mail-order things, but not a big selection. When I am not exercising, I just want to wear normal clothes (I guess

Oh yes, the audiobooks are fantastic. Davina Porter is a wonderful narrator - she really does all of the accents well, and you feel like Jamie and Claire are being voiced by different people. I am also listening, as I do my daily walks to lose weight - I can walk much farther when I am listening and forget that I am

I have read all 8 books. Book 5 is generally thought of as the worst in the series (really slow to start), but there are parts of it that hit me very hard and which still resonate in book 8. In fact, there are parts from book 1 that still resonate. I love this series and would encourage you to keep reading, and in

Roger, Young Ian, and Lord John are my favorite characters, after Jamie and Claire. I love Book Roger, and can't wait to see TV Roger.

See here for picture of Brian Fraser

Nope. This happens later, after they are married. And from what Diana Gabaldon and Ron Moore have said in interviews, it will be in the show.
