And if any stupid human gets close enough to infect them, they could easily wipe out the entire species. I hope they are being strict with requiring negative tests, masks, larger distancing.

Ooof that sounds rough. I feel sorry for her, I feel like it was be extra hard to be someone who missed out on her own childhood, wants to have kids, and can’t. And that whole ex-wife situation can’t have been easy.

Wait what were these rumors about a future child?

She and her sister have both mentioned that they wouldn’t have wished their childhood on anyone. I feel bad for them, because no matter how much money that have now, they earned that at the cost of their childhoods and seem to have suffered quite a bit as a result in terms of eating disorders, drug issues, etc.

This show would also be so much better if they focused more of the show on the blind dates and the pods, and featured all of the cast. It baffles me that two more couples got engaged, and they cut them out because they didn’t have the budget to bring them all to Mexico! Meanwhile, one of those “engaged” couples broke

So I went down a long Reddit rabbithole reading AMAs from a couple contestants that didn’t engaged, and some of the rumors posted there are interesting. There’s interviews that Jessica has given that she wanted to leave in Mexico, but was told if she left she’d have to pay back a large amount of $$$ to the show.

I was looking at this picture and wondering the same thing.

But Edward was the youngest, and I would think had similar opportunities to mother compared to Charles and Anne...

But why would Andrew be her favorite over Edward? Edward was the baby of the family, and as an adult he seems less scandal-prone than his brothers (though I’m not certain it’s if because he’s been involved with less scandals, or just doesn’t get the same press attention).

Yes, I’m only slightly younger than you (38 going on 39), and went I learned about them around 4th grade, some of the girls in class had the dolls, I read all the books in the library about them... but I was definitely at the point where the books were well below the level I was reading then, and I felt that I was

Aww that sounds really cute, to have girls write their own story!

Although I 100% agree that the historical dolls and the backstory in the book was what made them, I do think think it’s great that they make dolls that can be customized to look like little girls and wish that existed when I was a child.

I loved Samantha! I didn’t have the dolls, but she’s the one I wanted. I loved the books from the library though.

According to twitter, this was likely a money laundering scheme (which apparently is common in the modern art world).

Makes sense... under-ripe fruit may have less digestible fibrous starch. Once it’s ripe, those convert into sugars, which taste yummy, and are easier to digest—but also raise blood sugar more.

To put it simply... a lot of the hate is driven by racism. Progressive white folk have been using the tactic of seizing on a flaw to characterize black and brown politicians, then amplify that as a fatal flaw and insist that POC don’t like them either.

Agreed! It looks kind of boxy and unflattering. But perhaps if it’s comfy and warm it’s worth it? But I am baffled at the trends that cause something that really doesn’t look all that flattering to suddenly become trendy (and then, consequently untrendy).

With the coverage during the 90s I always thought that Charles was at fault and Diana was the wronged party. However, now having read more and watched quite a few documentaries about the British royals, I have a lot more sympathy for him. Yes, he cheated, and was probably the first to cheat. But on the other hand, he

Ugh. It is so gross that she felt that her career required being at weight that was so low it was compromising her fertility (though I’m sure it’s not she “felt” that way but was actively being pressured to be impossibly thin). But at the same time it’s horrid that she then pushed that onto others. The whole culture

Agree that body shaming is problematic, but describing her as “naturally petite” or “traditionally attractive” helps perpetuate the myth that women in entertainment are just naturally thin, and that is the definition of traditional attractiveness.
