Did you watch that show on USA about the ex-CIA(?) guy in Miami? Sharon Gless played his mom, and Tyne did a guest spot that was AMAZING. I died.

And equally important is the fact that it hinted to some people who might have concerns about him that he was there as EXACTLY that: the spouse of the presidential nominee, and not a potential co-president.

They did, and they also served in WWI, which is when this movie is set. I don’t know if they served as infantry in the US Army, but I have vague memories that they were limited to support roles that were often more dangerous. Hmm, may have to look into that again.

Did anyone else read this book? This trailer looks like a good series about a TOTALLY different book. I’m tempted to watch, just to see if my memory is completely on the fritz. (I don’t think my memory is THAT bad.)

I loved this show do so much more than I expected to. I actually miss it. The kids were actually perfect, too, which is so rare. It would have been a perfect Netflix series.
