Haven’t had a period in over two years. I adore my IUD.
I got into fiction podcasts right after the election after a steady diet of politics and news podcasts leading up to it. I really recommend Tanis and The Black Tapes, if spooky fiction is your thing. It takes my mind off things, and Tanis Season 3 is premiering later this month. Not a moment too soon!
Congrats on your sobriety!
This is more or less why I only go to literature meetings. I appreciate the courage it takes for people to chair a discussion meeting, but I don’t find the drunkologues helpful to my recovery...or particularly interesting.
Glad it wasn’t just me. I read that at least half a dozen times and then gave up.
Thank you very much for this!
That literally makes me sick to my stomach.
Fuck you, Susan Sarandon. I hope you’re happy.
This is a fantastic idea! I love it. How do we organize something like that?
That’s disgusting. I’m sorry to hear that.
I think there is such a thing as a reasonable level of self-selection, however. My social, familial, and working circles are completely homogenous politically with regard to Trump. But how would I go about making myself uncomfortable by leaving those circles? I’m not going to enter a different career field,…
I can only speak for myself, but I really do not. I don’t have that relative or branch of the family. Ancestors of mine were Democrat politicians. The entire family bleeds blue on both sides, and every holiday involves an in depth political discussion wherein we all agree on the basics but may differ on, for…
Given all that has happened in the last four plus days, only a fool would be hopeful.
Couldn’t agree more.
I think you cracked that wide open!
My ex used to lie about his height by underestimating it. He thought his real height made him a freak. No one’s ever happy.
Precisely. Women aren’t human beings; they’re vessels for potential future-men. Samantha Bee interviewed a priest on the subject who said something like, “well sometimes women are going to die.” Callously and casually. It was sickening.
Having sat through a lecture on termination in an actual medical school, I can tell you that pictures of indiscernible bloody tissue for each week of gestation were not included anywhere. There is no special “gravity” included in the instruction. These are simple, safe procedures that took up very little class time.…
You want them to draw diagrams of embryos and fetuses at every week of gestation so that you can know what the uterine contents might have been? That is not within the scope of the presentation. I am sure there are embryology videos on YouTube if that field interests you.
