Ginnifer Goodwin is way too good for this movie. Big Love has its flaws, but at least it gave a nuanced portrayal of the relationships between the three women.

Man, I wish someone would come at me about being a triflin bitch who can’t get that damn spot out because I can’t stop soaking in blood.
Is this guy in love with a historical figure? Book/movie character? WTF is he talking about? So many questions.
Fantastic answer to LW1. Telling potential partners about your past will weed out people, but in my experience, it can sometimes attract savior types or just bad dudes who are looking for what they think is an easy victim. Both of those situations suck, but they will reveal themselves in time. The really trustworthy…
I think this is probably a pop culture reference I’m not getting, but Joan of Arc was absolutely fucking metal.
This is the best thing I’ve heard about today. I must see this.
I’d take a long labor over a fast one any day, especially when no meds are involved. It’s like the difference between a wooden roller coaster and whatever newest crazy contraption Cedar Point has come up with.
I love that he’s still wearing the hospital bracelet. Childbirth is crazy, I can totally understand her impulse to just lay down in the closest spot.
She purposefully left the hairpin.
Those stories should be told as well. And they can be while still acknowledging that on a systemic level, women navigate the harassment-violence spectrum throughout their lives. But, yes, men who are survivors should no more be silenced that women who are minorities.
I think it would be important to have pop culture address harassment, abuse, and assault from the unflinching point of view of the survivors. From dealing with the emotional and physical trauma, to navigating the court system (or the question whether to report), to how it affects existing relationships. If there were…
If you feel like destroying yourself, tracks 1-3 or 3-5 on Rachael Yamagata’s Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart.
Oh, yes, “History” and it’s impeccably sourced documentaries.
A new spin on, “I’m not racist, I have a black friend!”
It’s entirely possible he was more moderate, or didn’t own guns, etc, early on. Gun ownership should definitely be an agreement, whether coming into a marriage or after vows are made. There’s a lot left unsaid in the question.
As a woman who has called out numerous men on shitty views and bad behavior, a word of caution: you may very well hear more noxious shit in return and, in particular assholes’ views, “confirm” their opinions on women. Not your fault or responsibility, of course, but fragile masculinity is a real phenomenon and…
Too bad they can’t retroactively eliminate the prequels.
I grew up on Star Wars and can’t count how many times I’ve seen eps 4-6, but I definitely feel the Star Wars fatigue. It’s like when Star Trek had a run of movies and shows all within a relatively brief time frame. “Too much of a good thing” and all that (or a mediocre thing if reports about Solo are to be believed).
I predict if this becomes successful that there will be a sharp increase in cats named Chairman Meow.
I love seasons 1-half of 3. I wonder if concern over not being picked up had them throw everything at the wall. I did not like the finale, save for the song with Nathanial and Paula showing up at the end. I really hope there is a season 4. I’m sad I won’t be able to see this tour. The whole cast is amazing.
