And it irritates me when you see people say "Well they're communists" - that's about as far from the communism proposed in the manifesto as the UK is. Ridiculous.

I had to phone my mother in a state of wibbling incoherence when I finished. She very calmly waited for me to stop blubbering before sympathising entirely. I'm so glad I told her beforehand I was playing an emotional game . . .

I loved them as a child, but they are books that I've never really been able to re-read (though I do better with the Hobbit). So I can't deny they have a great power, but I also think they could do with a robust edit.

It's funny I'd never heard anything but near universal praise for the book until I posted this comment! We were all hiding in the woodwork ;)

Oh I had no idea Confessions was made into a film - I'll have to look it up!

I like it - she's very different. Very tormented

Never seen her - I'll look it up!

I'd agree you've got to try it yourself - that's what kindle samples are for!

I really could not stand the book. I found it to be trite and a waste of a good concept. I much prefer the musical. In saying that, I am definitely in the minority with the book opinion.

Wow. Were you cut from the ensemble?

Dear lord the blocks. I think George, The Prince of Persia and last generation Lara Croft should start a support group for those box puzzles. They were all so similar.

Since so many Disney films are being adapted on Broadway, I think it's only fitting that Disney gets to adapt a Broadway musical in return. I want Megan Hilty and Idina Menzel as the voice talents!

Absolutely loving it so far. Some nice puzzles (though nothing that's confused me so much I've needed to quit and go back to it later.) I'm just happy to have George around again.

I really enjoy 3. It has a lot of classic Broken Sword moments, but definitely ramps up the stakes a bit. There's a particularly memorable sequence in a theatre that vexed me for WEEKS.

Fourth isn't really 'bad' but it's clearly made by a different company. It just doesn't sparkle as the others did.

Absolutely - 100% correct answer. Well done.

It's not about honesty though - it's about forgetfulness. I used to forget to take my pill before I was on the implant (one of the reasons I wanted to go on the implant). If there's going to be fuck up, it's going to be my fuck up. I'm the one who's health and life is compromised.

And you cut a dapper figure to boot

Nope. I do want children and when I have a partner I want them with and we discuss it together. But I would never relinquish control over my reproductive status.
