I'm sorry but you have criticised Inception. I must now explain how wrong you are.

Excellent usage of Burnistown there

I'm expecting dvd sales of the Thick of It (that show) to increase this week . . .

One of my little sisters has a phobia of balloons bursting. I think watching that vid is the closest I'll ever get to understanding.

There is that!

Still. Bitter.

Still relevant!

Yeah I was not on my game that day at all

Sure.

I remember desperately explaining this ad nauseum to a guy I didn't want to date.

No dice.

LOOK! How do you expect me to SCIENCE without making the chimps smarter?

Laurence is sort of stuck in the straight man role - he needs to be Temeraire's reins where from our standpoint, Temeraire is making the most sense. And when he made his choice with the cure way back in (Throne? Empire? Can't remember) he makes a huge moral and ethical leap, then spends the next few books wandering

I agree that the film should have ended there (that scene gets me right in the feels) but I don't think it's necessary a contrived twist, it still raises a lot of the movie's recurring philosophical questions, etc.

I completely agree - BSG was always a story about faith and what it can drive you to. It was definitely damaged by the writer's strike, but I think they did a good job all things considered.

Like most of us it seems I've struggled with the last few books. Still a fan of the series though.

Is Ramoth going to have to cut a bitch?

He's been saying that for years though so take it with a grain of salt.

Damn son, I'd fund that.
