Just to contrast - If you're not that fussed about following the whole story I'd only play 2 and Brotherhood. Revelations is the worst of the lot for me.

A friend of mine in school (who sometimes read Jez, I wonder if she'll see this) was cutting herself very badly for a while. I did the Callie thing and went to tell people and it caused a lot of problems for this friend. The school got involved, I think it made family life worse for her, and we didn't really speak

Something I've noticed recently - since my doctors became aware I'm doing a phd, they've become positively supplicant, even asking me what medication I want prescribed. I'm no less well spoken or intelligent than before I began my phd, so why am I suddenly capable of deciding when I need antibiotics?

Well done! Good comment :)

That is unbearably creepy and horrible.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm amazed at how many of these comments are 'me'. This one in particularly - I'm EXACTLY the same.

Oh my god - YES! My childhood was unpredictable, financially speaking, and we had periods of wealth and periods of poverty. Many, many people have remarked on my financial habits. I deliberate over purchases and will often 'make do' even though I'm pretty financially stable for my age range. I also never, ever ask for

I had a BT phone engineer tell me I looked like the subject of a nude painting on the wall behind me. He then asked if he would see me later.

EVERY CHARACTER YOU EVER LOVED WILL DIE.

Cheers for the links!

I feel as though Jezebel used to be more thought provoking - has anyone got any recommendations for interesting feminist blogs/news sites to follow?

As a denizen of the internet I'm free to judge, judge, judgity judge and the dude sounds like a dick.

I keep saying that if I'm ever in a terrible aeroplane crash I'd start eating people before the supplies run out.

If she'd answered with that we'd have had to awarded her Queen of the World so maybe it's a good thing she saved something in reserve.

Mirror's Edge isn't a shooter. To pick up a gun is to fail the Test of Faith!

Don't tell Ned. He might have a BSOD.

Damn right. Enough of your unpleasant bodily secretions, woman. Get ye to the kitchen
