We’ve just gone through it with our anthem in Canada. They voted to change “in all thy sons command” so it's gender neutral. Oh, the freak outs. Meanwhile the anthem we sing now is nothing like the original and the original was gender neutral. But outrage, etc.!

“Sense-making Caroline”.

My new morning beverage since I quit caffeine.

I’m sorry, who is the crybaby here? Waaaah, change! It's so hard!

Spending more time with your child is “creepy as hell”? You realize to parents it’s not a dead baby - it’s THEIR baby. And yes, it helps.

I’m in Canada so maybe it’s different. All I know is my husband always uses his own stuff to secure the furniture. So to me I don’t really see the difference between this and the dressers I bought. But included kits is certainly a good idea.

Doggy is much better now, thanks. She’s taking her meds like a champ and walking normally again. Yay.

I’m really sorry this happened to you, but a lot of us DO bolt dressers to the wall. I saw some horror story Facebook post when my first was a baby. Everything has been bolted ever since. And it certainly isn’t just IKEA dressers. The story I read was not an IKEA dresser. Ours are not from there and we have them

None of the furniture I’ve ever bought has come with such a kit - including my kids’ dressers. My husband has always bolted them to the wall himself. Did not know this was a thing to be honest.

Me neither. Maybe is just the place I lived in, but there was always something to be stressed about or some horrible change to protest (good god, a three storey town hall????). Like simmer down. You don't have problems.

If there’s one thing I learned growing up amongst wealthy oceanside people, it’s that wealthy oceanside people will stop at NOTHING to preserve their precious views.

Okay, but let's just our resources are highly unmatched.

I like how you went for the McDuck version by default. I mean dude has enough gold to swim in.

The one I do we get to meet each other and develop friendships and I just love it. My matched family were lovely people with two hungry growing boys. Dropping off all the food was so great. The teenaged kid could not contain his glee. We had so many big hugs. It was a great day and we continue to keep in touch. :)

I will send one on my next postcard. :D He's a great kid. Very obsessed with our snow. I wish I could send him some.

My local women’s shelter, a local Christmas hamper and gift organization, BC Children’s Hospital, the SPCA, the local healthcare foundation (helped obtain a cuddle cot for parents of stillborn babies this year!). And I sponsor a boy called Isaac in Ghana. I just got a letter from him saying he is all up to date on his

After a day of emergency surgery and after care with my older doggy, this was the scene I needed. Made my night.

That's less than me, non-billionaire. Not that I'm trying to brag about my contributions or anything, but it's just disturbing. I guess that's one way to get rich - Scrooge-style.

Jesus Christ, all those times I ran and leapt on the sky train, I might have lost my head? And spilled my coffee?

Once again I did not see these films. I feel like I wasn't even part of the world for the first ten years of this century.
