Okay. Gonna have to point out a problem with your concern: Doctors do not operate in secret locations with no other medical or administrative personnel on hand,* blithely skipping keeping records of everything they do. There’s no “Oh, oops, we just won’t report that,” going on with any medical procedure.

It just occurred to me that the fathers of these supposedly endangered babies don’t figure into the story. Are they tied up in a closet somewhere? Possibly rendered unconscious by drugs supplied by the evil doctors?

So how long before someone shoots up a neonatal unit because someone influenced by this motherfucker will think they’re trying to save babies?

lol nice essay nerd

I’m struggling between “don’t feed trolls” and “everyone needs to see this"

Congratulations on leaving what is easily the most deranged comment I’ve ever received in my year of working at Jezebel lol.

It doesn’t matter what size your labia is with this outfit. It matters whether you plan to move your legs more than one millimeter apart while wearing it. Because if your legs move, your labia move, and that bodysuit will end up cutting you in half in a way that is so painful that, you, being a man - can’t even

This is not a particularly hot take, but I have 2 kids. One of them is 9 months, the other is almost 4. Guess which one is the most annoying to fly with? (It’s the older one).

Honestly IME adults are the fucking worst. The worst flights I’ve spent have always involved entitled asshole adults being rude and annoying. And adults seem to be the ones that start fights after being asked to stop doing something, I’ve never had a 7 year old curse me out or threaten me for asking them to put their

I am also entitle to not have to listen to your child scream the entire flight.

You can’t tell a baby they’re being rude. You CAN tell a 3 year old they are.

I would much prefer the parents of 3-13 year olds to march onto a plane wearing a sandwich board that reads “I’m aware of my responsibility to make sure my child does not kick your seat, throw food, or otherwise disturb you. Please let me know if I’m failing”

Hey guys, long time no see! I forget to post early on Saturdays so that’s why there haven’t been Catalina updates. So here’s one.

Do you instantly know the behavior and health history of all members of every family you see on the street? If not then one size fits all statements like “5 is too old” can be really hard on parents and kids who for whatever reason choose strollers past the age you’re comfortable with.

100% this. From the outside it is often impossible to see the struggles and needs of another family, I can’t see any reason to be anything but supportive of other parents doing it the absolute best they can. Sure it’s fun to toss around strong judgements, but there is no 1 size fits all for kids.

With many conditions, you can not tell just by looking. I think it’s funny that people feel the need to judge others habits. I personally think strollers for older kids is weird, but I don’t let it affect my life. If my child is healthy enough to walk, they are not getting a stroller when they hit a certain age.

This exactly! My sister passed away when she was 19 because of an asthma-related issue. A year or so before she died, her pulmonologist issued a handicapped tag for her car, and her pulmonologist and cardiologist warned her not to exert herself, as her respiratory condition was causing too much strain on her heart.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m sorry about what you and your daughter are going through- it must be incredibly hard, and I imagine that judgmental looks from strangers would make things even more difficult.

❤️❤️❤️ you do you and ignore the judgmental bitches like me. My best to your kiddo.
