That was part of the simulation, though. The Time Bureau probably doesn’t have such a gadget at all. A literal plot device, courtesy of Gideon.

I “literally” laughed my ass off at this.
Jax having to contend with a slightly psychotic arsonist in his head - one with centuries of experience and a proven strength for mind control, at that - would be gold, Jerry, gold!
I agree somewhat - he’d probably go to Rip now all “God, I need a bunch of competent assholes to work with. If you’re hiring, I’m looking.”
That seriously confused me. Like, if Mick is bisexual or gender-fluid or likes cross-dressing or just likes a healthy breeze around his privates like that old wizard in Harry Potter - whatever, it’s all good. Just *tell* us, because that was one odd bit of beachwear to see without explanation.
Women find men attractive when they act like decent human beings! Who knew?
Just testing this to make sure it works...
I'm so sorry. I hope they'll see the light, so to speak.
The fact you recognize that makes you extremely valuable. We *need* people who can recognize that when they see it, in themselves and others. All of us can take things too far in a given situation. I'm a big believer in compromise where possible, but as you've pointed out, rightly, take that too far and you're…
I'm not sure Cap meant "compromise with the GOP in general" - although if anyone there was capable of coming up with a sensible policy (for which I've seen no evidence thus far), I'd consider it.
I agree, the GOP is so beyond conservative policies that's there's little on which a compromise should even be sought, let alone be reached. I would think the more sensible conservative policies that are now refugees within your Democratic Party from the GOP could be listened to and worked with.
"I like the cut of your jib." Boating cultural background here.
Damn, I never see this on the Internet. Come back and say they took a second look at things and admit they might have misunderstood? I feel like I'm living an urban legend!
Just wanted to let you know I heard this reply, and I believe you're absolutely right. Deep down everyone - even the ones you hate and fear - is a human being. I'm trying to commit to engaging with all people on that level, every day. It's not easy. It actually makes me tear up to know I'm not alone in accepting that…
I'd marry this post if I could. Is that legal in your country?
You, sir/ma'am/honorific of your choice, win the Internet today. That was inspired.
I know this is two years later and the equivalent of shouting into the wind, but I've only started binging this recently.
No rule at all.
I understood that reference!
…That's…that's not Tony Hale??
