I didn’t know how excited I was for Dug Days until SQUIRREL!

The Dug show should be him just identifying various small mammals like squirrels, rabbits and opossums.

I try not to spoil anything, but the opening sequence of that movie should come with a warning.

Keep the tissues handy. UP should have won Best Picture that year.

1. In the case of HBO Max releases, I don’t see how they could be since there’s no additional charge, anyone who already has the service can watch it.

Spoiler alert: each episode starts with a 5 min, dialogue free, opening sequence that makes you cry?

I would even bet *more* people watched it since it was streaming at home. I wouldnt have seen it at the theater, I probably would have waited to see it when it eventually made it to a streaming site. But since it was on HBO same day, I watched it that weekend. Seems like they really just need to revamp what they

Honestly? I’ll watch. It has just about the peak level of complexity in writing and story telling I can handle right now.

I’m 100% on board with a sequel series to UP starring Dug.

Theaters were already on the decline. This pandemic is the first inch of the coffin nail being hammered. Things are changing and with home theaters and large format high definition TVs being ubiquitous along with streaming services, it’s doubtful actual theater volume will ever be what it one was. Much like the film

There are two sides, and all these things seem to only look at it from the box office numbers and actors side of things.

To be fair to Jenkins, these massive movies can easily get out of hand, directors like Villeneuve and Nolan make it look easy to outsiders, and also WW was her first huge movie, I mean, she can direct. Monster was a riveting, disturbing film. Also, gender is inevitably entwined with this. Let’s keep in mind David Lean

Until theaters get their act together and start making going a pleasurable experience, then I’m staying home. Too many theaters let the audience run riot, noisy, bright (first time I went to see Thor Ragnarok, they didn’t even turn the house lights down until an hour into the movie), smelly; it is just plain gross,

Thank you!

Like we have 9 “rooms” (dont know the english word for it)

I mean...I just have to look at the seat reservations for this saturday evening here in Germany. Pretty much every movie has at most sold 20 tickets.
Like we have 9 “rooms” (dont know the english word for it) and the smallest has about 100 seats. The biggest over 300. And not even one is sold out.

I dont know how it is

Not sure how I feel about the opinions of Patty Jenkins in regards to box office release strategies, but I will listen to anything she has to say about directing, since she was somehow able to pull a passable performance out of an actor as as bad as Gal Gadot, in the first WW film.

I’m just wondering how many inspiring directors/writers/actors and the whole lot would be fine with streaming and smaller screen across multiple platforms? It may have been considered epic usually going to the cinema years ago, but that was also only when people pretty much had 3 options. It was either cinema, TV with

Man do these directors not realize there’s a thing called Covid going around?

I understand the complaints, but I only watched it because it was streaming. So I think there is some room to adjust to maximize the benefits of both sets of viewers.
