Mysterio is, I think, the best adaptation of a Marvel rogue in these movies. He serves a purpose. He’s charismatic. You *like* him. His betrayal is genuinely affecting as a result of how you got to know him as a person prior to the heel turn. He had a motive and a point of view. The best Marvel villains have a point

I’ve seen other people with this take, and I find it kind of questionable. I never thought it absolved her of anything. She was certainly planning to kill a little girl, even if she didn’t succeed. There’s also no reason to believe Antonia was the only child she killed. As characterization, we see Natasha as having

Probably the only one I disagree with you on is Kurt Russell, but otherwise you are bang on the money.

I’d lump in Alexander Pierce/Bucky, Zemo, and Vulture as some of the better MCU villains, and I’d say there are times that the villains aren’t spectacular but function well enough for the film like Hela and even Ronan to an extent.

the Marvel Cinematic Universe usually gives its villains just as much gravitas as its heroes: Loki, Thanos, Killmonger, Red Skull

Taskmaster’s first battle action scenes were perfect. My only disappointment with the character was we didn’t see a lot of that superpower. There’s a vibranium shield, and a bow with exploding arrows, and the Black Panther claws (but not a lot of his fighting style). And there are some poses imitating Nat, kinda. But

I am REALLY hoping to see more of Red Guardian in Phase 4.

This version of Taskmaster worked perfectly in this story, but presumably Antonia’s story as Taskmaster is done. There’s no reason there can’t be another Taskmaster created by Hydra or Roxxon, or just an independent mercenary. People freaking out over this Taskmaster being *the* Taskmaster are simply unimaginative and

I was perfectly happy with Taskmaster in this film. She served her role and she served it well. It doesn’t bother me in the least or detract from the movie as a whole that the character wasn’t deeply explored. The movie wasn’t about Taskmaster. It wasn’t about Natasha’s battle against Taskmaster.

As I recall (it’s been a long time) the whole premise behind the Silverhawks was their cybernetic bodies allowed them to not need an atmosphere.

Are Tiger Sharks part of that universe as well?

I was born in ‘88, so most cartoons of the time were before me. But when I was like 8, by family had one of those old, giant metal satellite dishes. We got crazy shit from all over the place, but my favorite was this random channel that showed old cartoons non stop. Silverhawks, Pole Position, MASK, Jem and Bionic 6

Honestly it was only a matter of time. I never got the idea that Silverhawks were a particularly beloved or culturally relevant property, I figured it was at least an IP someone could scoop up and do something with.  I used to watch it in the late 90s/early 2000s when Cartoon Network would air it.  The theme song was

I’m not sure which rule of the internet it is, but one of them is: If a reboot of something is announced, people will pour out of the woodwork to let everyone know that it was the most important thing to them as a child, and if the new creatives don’t live up to their expectations, they will make their lives a living

Its usually right before or after thunder cats.. literally the same intro if you look at it side by side

Lol... i love them.. growing up

Wake me when they get to The Galaxy Rangers or The Centurions.

I guess it could work depending on how they take it, but the Thundercats hard reboot died because partly because the toys became great peg warmers, I don’t know where they are gonna go with this.
