nice truck! And good work on the bumper. I'm about to get one built for my 95.

Who the hell said LED's make a car look expensive? Look like the rope lights rednecks use instead of christmas lights, no matter what car it's on, Audi especially. Worst trend in a while.

This is the proper vehicle to pimp. I fully support his choice in vehicles, this is more luxury than a freaking Cadillac. Well done. The price is insane, but well done sir. Properly pimped.

Short rant: Without a way to easily compare reviews (leader board ala Top Gear!) they are relatively worthless. A 74 doesn't mean squat unless I know what did better/worse.

I pitted my Scion against a Mule Deer in Wyoming and lost.

Yeah, we've looked into doing this to my Miata or my buddies stripped-bare 87 4Runner, but DAMN it's expensive. Online kits are close to 11K, and even with doing all the welding/fabrication ourselves it still will be hard to get it much cheaper than that. If we could do it for 3-5K, maybe. Just a matter of time.

that thing is f'ing beautiful! NP all the way. Personally I'd leave it dirty, slam it and make a hot rod-ish thing. In theory.

Which area are you talking about? Beasley Knob?

Them Bogans look like fun! And what the hell was that white hearse/camper thing!

thanks for the feedback, all. I've been tempted by the awesomeness of the Fairlady and may have to make the swap. Be a great winter project!

I already have 3 other projects! The Miata is currently the most reliable and by far the best gas mileage. That's the rub. But, hmm, could swap cars and THEN get a reliable car...

yes they do!

question for the Jalops: I have a good buddy who has a couple of these. He wants to trade one that runs, but needs some love, for my 93 Miata. Would you trade? The Miata is a daily driver and my most efficient vehicle (but also due for a new motor - 300K on the clock). But the Datsun is f'ing rad, although needs

Do it every day in my Miata. Not a problem.

Simple. Drive a piece of shit that only YOU like.

Owning one vehicle is downright immoral. It's only logical to have at least a car and a truck.

That's a damn fun road in a Miata. Did it a couple weeks back, was a blast except for a couple douches on bikes who thought they owned the road.

I thought I had that honor?

where are you finding them cheaper? i would love one to add to the collection.

Good honest review.
