People who park at the gas pump.  They are not pumping.  They just park, go in the store to play lottery or something.  No intention of getting gas.  See it a lot in Atlanta.

Some of us do value quality and think consuming “new cars every three years when our lease period ends” is insane. That’s why I have 2 Land Cruisers - one with 287K that I’ve had for 15 years, one with 215K that I’ve had for about 3. I’ll definitely always have one of em!

Anyone who didn’t say Miata for the fun car is wrong.

I found it interesting that I scrolled by articles about Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, Tesla only to find this article about “rich hogs”.

I’m more of a hybrid fan than pure EV fan, but wonder if the same argument the article is making is true for hybrids since they also have batteries?

I had a brutal mountain bike wreck a couple weeks ago that broke a couple ribs and knocked me silly for a bit. No iPhone crash detection triggered.

Man I miss my 85 Saab 900 SPG. Bought it in Jacksonville in 1993 for $1500 or something and immediately drove it across the country, taking it places it shouldn’t have been. It was a beast!

I think the 4Xe is popular because a hybrid makes a lot of sense. Ability to run electric close to home, and use gas out in the wild. Brilliant.

4Xe making sense doesn’t mean full electric makes sense.

The people who bitch about other people standing up when the flight lands.  I’ve been sitting for potentially hours.  My knees hurt.  I just want to stretch.  I know I’m not going anywhere.

I’m halfway there with the 200 Series Land Cruiser.  Currently it’s paired with a beater Miata, but a Manx 2.0 would be an amazing fun car.
