it seems Japan can produce automotive value better than we can.

Maverick and Miata.

The problem I see is that you are viewing this from the wrong perspective.

Do we have to include dealer mark up?

My uncle has a country place that no one knows about

$5K e-bikes? Pfft. Those are for the DUI riders.

I miss all my Saabs from my ‘85 900 to my 2004 9^5 Aero. But my best Saab was my ‘94 9000 CSE that I got to replace my ‘88 SPG (needed more room and 4 doors for kids). I had that upgraded to 9k Aero specs and it really felt like an extension of me. Superb handling and speed and with the seats folded I could haul

The title of the article is “... smallest displacement V12 engines...”

5 litres isn’t small.

The biggest engine on this list is more than 1.5l smaller than that.

I made the drive from Oslo to Bergen, then up to Trondheim a couple of years ago. The Trollstigen was cool, but to be fair, every where in Norway is absolutely stunning, so you are definitely in for a treat.

Blue Ridge Parkway comes to mind as a major road in the east worth traveling for--drove it with a friend when I visited him in South Carolina.  I’m sure it would be fun at speed, but it is more of a sightseeing road so we were moving slow.  I think the best would be to do that road in a Gen 1 Miata--perfect car to

Yep.  I’m tall.  So I’ll stand and stretch as soon as I can.  It’s honestly never been an issue.  Maybe that’s changed in the last few years?

Amen to this

Don’t get up until the plane is at the gate and the seatbelt sign is off. Nobody wants a bag dropped on them when the plane starts moving again. Last few times I landed at JFK we had to hold between runways for several minutes and at least a dozen people started strolling around like we were at the gate.

It’s not the simple stand-uppers, it’s those who leap up and bum’s rush the aisle 4.85 nanoseconds after the seatbelt sign goes off to cheat as far up the plane as possible. Never saw this until I flew Southwest, where about 3-4 of the back-seaters did this on multiple flights.

THANK YOU!!! Don’t crowd the aisle or make a bum rush for the door when the plane stops, but I’m gonna fucking stand up. A lot of the time I don’t even go to the bathroom if it isn’t an emergency because I don’t want to be a bother asking people to get up, so I am for sure standing when we stop because I haven’t for 5

But that interferes with those entitled individuals being able to scurry up the aisle to get 2-3 rows ahead of their original location. Come on, their time is valuable.

Oh, GM vehicles will easily make it to 250,000. On the fleet side, GM was the “best” of the big 3 in longevity... but also the worst lemons. Either they will go for well over 250,000 or eat three transmissions and six alternators before 75,000. It was like roulette and YES the fleet people would place bets when they

Electric Miata is going to be a game changer!

That’s me, minus the cash to buy an ISF. Will a top end 3-series out perform an IS? Probably. Will an IS be a garage queen? Most definitely not.
