I’m watching Love, Death & Robots, a Netflix NSFW animated sci-fi anthology. As with any anthology, it’s a mixed bag but the episodes are all less than 20 minutes long (most under 15 minutes) so it’s not a huge investment in time.

I just checked, I think the water stopped a block from my place! A new sandbag wall changed the flow from straight east to southeast back into it’s normal flow.  That wall is now holding back 6 feet of water so it’s probably not safe go back yet.

It has been amazing to see people helping out with the sandbagging, it’s mostly volunteer work and when they ask for help on social media a small army shows up and gets to work.

Shopped, napped. Finished a book I started weeks ago, but couldn’t get into. I got less than a quarter of the way in, and tonight said “Fuck it; I just want to know how it ends”. I hate being a buzz kill but sharing some of this at least makes me feel like I’m doing something other than watching and occasionally sandbagging. We had some success in parts but nothing was prepared for this amount of water
