I watched Scott Pilgrim this summer with my kid, who’s on an Edgar Wright kick after seeing Baby Driver 5x, and I was kinda confused by the ending. Turns out the first time I saw it, On Demand in 2010, it was the alternate ending. But I didn’t know there was an alternate ending! So my son and I watch and I say, “Huh,

Oooh, interesting! Looking for a fresh start? Or no, of course, Pink Skull is your gawker name. Mysteries!

Well I beg your pardon.

I want to recommend this comment many more times than the system will allow.

Wait, wasn’t there a huge discussion about this yesterday? Do we really have to generate a whole new batch of GRRM snark and sarcasm because kinja lost our comments??

I'll take that bet. And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you. Death by childbirth sounds like a stretch, even if it's her (slightly) younger brother's child.

Sorry, Michael, all due respect, but I'm a mother and I've miscarried. You don't know what you're talking about. Qyburn was in with Cersei twice: he wasn't in there so Jaime could see him, he was in there so WE could see him. He offered to give Cersei "something for it," presumably the abortive moon tea (presumably,

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to raise your hopes, I was offering my sympathy. I've been sort of following the HBOGo/Now thing for years, always marveling at how long it took them to offer the service when it seems there are A LOT of people (like you!) who'd gladly pay for an online subscription. It's bizarre to

I skip to the end of the plot summaries on moviespoiler! Which is really disturbing when I think about my attention spa—whoa, did you see the new GoT leaks???

Seriously? Sincerely, there's no online-only HBO Now in BC? That's super lame. I mean, it sounds like that's what you just said—I'm underscoring that it really sucks!

Yeah, the writing's really gotten lazy this season.

Fair enough! I like Cigarette's example below.

I think it's a little late in the day for logic all around.

Yeah, but you're not reading a wikipedia summary for a nuanced understanding of a movie, are you? If so, I could recommend some better sources.

I do it for movies I'll never see and have no interest in except I'm reading summaries of them on wikipedia. It's inexplicable.

I thought it paid off by the end. The ppl who dropped out after a few eps were most disappointed in it, I think. It had nothing on seasons 1-3, but I liked it more as it got to the end and I'd definitely watch more.

Everything else? All of it?

Did you make it all the way through the Netflix Arrested Development season? Or kinda give up on it partway through?

Sheesh, alright. I'll try to be more hilarious. Jokes like "Mother of Epithets" don't just write themselves, you know. After all, the work of DragonsPromised53 isn't famous for its humor.

Does this mean we're done?
