I don’t even know what he means by saying people forgot about colds and the flu. Like, generally, if you don’t have either of those illnesses, you don’t think about them. Does that mean you forgot they exist?

I don’t know about the rest of the country, but if bagel shops and deli in NYC cut back to half of the cream cheese they put on bagels each place would have enough of a supply to last at least 5 years.

I’m more impressed that at 36 she had the energy to go clubbing until 4 AM then still go to work in the morning like it’s no big deal. I lost that ability around 28-years-old.

I don’t think the “alleged” is necessary. They were wearing uniforms in marked cars, so it’s pretty confirmed.

While SPACs can be good investments and useful vehicles for small companies trying to raise funds, they are very much NOT transparent and can be excellent tools for scam artists. I wonder which one this might be?

They’re asking to be paid twice/more. If you perform a song you didn’t write, you get x dollars, and the writer gets y dollars. If you perform a song you did write, you get paid x+y dollars. The comedians are getting x for material they wrote and performed, and want x+y. If there were other writers, of course, that…

The comedians are asking to paid as writers (and receive royalties on their copyrights) rather than as performers. Presumably, by getting paid for their literary rights, they would receive more than they get now.
