I am pleasantly surprised that NC has not yet passed one of those laws giving you a free doughnut and a get out of jail free card if you mow down BLM protesters

It’s much easier to just spend a few weekends marching and wearing a t-shirt than to actually desegregate the school that you pay a lot of property taxes to keep segregated

It’s hard to believe that in some parts of the world, when people are sick or potentially sick, they actually stay home and if they have to go out, they wear masks to protect others. 

I would argue that the CDC has gotten a tremendous amount of things wrong about this virus, or at least the people at the top did. I mean, they only quietly acknowledged that the virus can be airborne like a week before these new guidelines

I do like the idea of encouraging people driving huge expensive SUVs to change to EV versions, but agree that this is not the best use of tax credit money. Putting that money towards improving the charging infrastructure would be better

Yes, this. Also the law was changed 2 months ago. It’s an entirely reasonable expectation that the people enforcing the law are familiar with what it is that they are enforcing.
