Is that sarcastic?
I've genuinely not had any problems with the Netflix UI and it's one of the best players I've used on a streaming service.
Admittedly the bar was lowered considerably by the likes of Yahoo Screen.

You've clearly never played a Telltale game or Life is Strange.
They're all in seasons of multiple episodes all directly effected (more or less) by decisions you've made in previous ones.
I imagine this will be more simple than that, like those kids shows that encourage the viewer to shout at the TV or sing/dance along

If they don't plop those accidents in front of screens for hours then they'll be let loose in the outside world.
You're in the outside world.
Before you know it they'll be on your lawn/doorstep/cave-entrance and you'll be shouting at them to get off.

Made worse by the fact the first 2/3rds of the episode were actually really good.
It's such a shame they had to ruin it all in that last half-hour.

I don't think that's indefensible, unless you wrote it before 2012.

"I'm not sure how you tell who's taking advantage of whom."
The producers are taking advantage of everybody, that should be pretty clear.
They're the ones with the power, they're the ones manipulating the whole situation and if something goes wrong they should be the ones to have charges pressed against them.

Slow motion? Ew.
Almost no sexual act is improved by seeing it in slow-motion, you'd think it would make it more sexy but it really doesn't.

Yeah, I'm glad they tried and they made content I enjoyed watching that wouldn't exist otherwise.
It's just a shame the market wasn't there and I'm a little surprised but very happy they didn't see that earlier.

I was literally just writing a message saying I didn't know how to get to the Avocado (great nick-name btw) without going to The AV Club, scrolling down to the comments and loading Disqus from there.
I'm such an old man sometimes.
I've bookmarked it now.

Big Bang Theory is still going right?

Hopefully, I liked the look of a lot of the SeeSo content (not that I could get it in the UK) but if this is a signal that the bubble is bursting and they'll be less niche streaming services, which would be a great thing.
Perhaps I'll be proved wrong but I think this is one area where less competition is good for

I saw this coming a long way off.
Just looking at the views on their youtube channel, they uploaded whole episodes there that never broke 300,000 views.
It seemed to have a lot of investment poured into it but I'm willing to bet it never broke-even. The projects were going after such a niche audience, and while I was

Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23 managed to mess it up so much it's now impossible to watch the episodes in the the original order and have it make sense..
They moved the unaired finale from season 1 into the middle of season 2 but re-scripted the other episodes around that change, so it doesn't make complete sense

I think it's different for introducing people.
I tend to show them a really good episode as a tester and if they like it start from the pilot but I wouldn't usually show someone several episodes out of order.
When introducing my gf to Buffy I just skipped through the key episodes of season 1 with her.

Exactly.
Even if everyone on the planet stops buying Pepsi (not going to happen) they CEO could still retire stinking rich.

I think they idea was to get those supporters to go out and vote, as they were worried potential Hillary supporters weren't as enthused as Obama's because she wasn't as "cool", but as cool as Broad City is it's not magic.

You are over-thinking it.
Someone just thought they could chop up some clips from the trailer with a retro voice-over, throw the Red Giant VHS filter on there and get a few thousand views.
That someone was right.

I'm a goblin. You kids interested in some riddles?

That's a cool feature.

People forget that the "that's how it was back then" fallacy also applies to slavery, husbands raping their wives and Nazi Germany.
I've come to see that "that's how it was back then" isn't an explanation it's a confession.
