I like to imagine that this car was gently placed all the way up there on that curb with a crane.

I can’t imagine controlling a car with that much power and torque only running to the front axle. In FWD mode, my shitty Acadia rental car torque steers like crazy with anything more than 50% throttle input.

And you only get the Driver’s Package with AWD, and without that the MKZ is just another sedan, not A Performance Sedan You Probably Forgot About.

Nah, I think that’s still Wisconsin after the whole Foxconn debacle.

So, North Carolina is the Charlie Brown of States?

“If anyone was stupid, it was the owner for making demands they knew they couldn’t enforce. The service writer knew what he was doing, I guarantee they were calling the customer an “asshole” and took the car out to spite him. They might not have even bothered if he didn’t say anything.”

If someone had a dead dog because the system broken down and they

Yeah, is naming an airport after Wiley Post appropriate? Like, would anyone want to fly out of Amelia Earhart International?

True story: I learned that you have to renew your registration from time to time... from a police officer.

I’m guessing it’s the “piece of history” crowd, because I can’t believe anyone thought an Alero would be an investment.

The older ones were much better - huge throw, sure, but it felt right for a wrangler.  The new one just doesn’t feel matched up right.

Can we implement a new rule on Jalopnik that whenever you write about a car that isn’t going to be available in the US, you state that upfront? I was already pulling out my checkbook by the time I got to the bottom and you crushed my little heart.

Yeah, I was definitely conflating “ball bearings” with “all bearings” haha

In simple terms, a bearing is simply a device that allows one part to “bear” the movement of another. The bearing itself may or may not move with the “moving” part.
