The deer would lick up all the salt and become dill flavored, so we would have lots of dill-does

In this case, yes, the Turo insurance should cover this, IMHO (but I would not be surprised if they worm their way out of it). The insured is the owner of the truck, they are in the business of renting them, and it’s not like you can vet who is going to decide to be a vigilante with your truck. So Turo should pay out

Cute. We just called them Aunts.

I agree with the Eagle, but the timing was missed. The perfect time to reintroduce the Eagle was during the era when Dodge made the Charger, Challenger and Magnum. Put a beefy 4WD under them, lift them a few inches, give them retro square headlights and bigger tires and you have a modern Eagle.

Yeah. I mean the Miata also had a hard plastic interior, but at least it looked like somebody actually took pride in designing it. Whereas the Viper looked like it was designed by the same guy who designed the interior of all their other rental specials, and the grey plastic looks like it was poured out of the same

I forgot just how terrible the interior on these things is. My ‘92vMiata was way nicer on the inside than that disaster

Its letter of the law vs spirit of the law.

Many can’t do the work themselves, and these days paying to have it done will bankrupt you. My local Euro Indie is pushing $200/hr, and the dealer is $240...

A nice side effect of my dashcam is that is makes ME a more, umm, polite driver. Any time I get fired up by others’ stupidity, I think, do I really want to record my own aggressive response?

Counter-counter point.
The Caliber was legitimately awful. IDK how Daimler(silent Chrysler) ever released it.
I had one for a rental, and I’ve never been more legitimately scared to drive than in a Caliber trying to merge onto a highway.

Came to post this about the “rushed” redesign on the Subaru’s face.

A major miss. The Saab version was sooo much better looking. I have seen the prototype in the Saab Museum in Trollhatten.

I would imagine that has to do with what the final drive ratio is on the manual car.

I’ve got a good one where I was both the instigator and 100% at fault. Let me explain...
For starters, I was 16 and had been driving for less than a year. I was a real shitass kid. Not only was I one of those little fucks that think they’re the paragon of wisdom and righteousness at 16, but I was also someone who

you too can achieve better gas mileage in a manual car if the top gear is a damn tall ass cruising gear and short shifting everything lol.

There was a time long, long ago when manual cars had better MPGs than automatics.

I’d rather have this one than the current one. No rotary shifter, and actual instruments not screens, screens, screens. Not that I would pay this much for one.

This - I’ve been looking for what to upgrade my Mk7 GTI to get a bit more space and this Honda is incredibly compelling for more space and quality of interior.

BMW 4 Series G22.
