Honda’s vehicles tend to go through an A/B-generation design cycle. Generation A will introduce bold new styling. Generation B will tone that down somewhat, and be a more-refined (some would say more-boring) version of Generation A.

Kyree,
The right number of cars is always one more than you need...
You can retrofit paddle shifters to a Phaeton.
Tried a Ford Edge? Man that thing has had every bit of excitement sanded off. I assume thats why its super popular in places.
slower, uglier (IMO), cheaper, fewer options. I’d say Honda has a more boring car available in the same showroom.
right, I guess my point is the Telluride was never designed for that price point so there’s no surprise it can’t compete at it. What the dealers and public will pay does not equate to what level it competes at, and ideally once prices become closer to normal the Telluride will represent excellent value against a…
Tellurides here in CA are going for $10k over sticker, the Q7s are actually going for MSRP. Even without that, most people lease or finance these cars, so a $4k difference is negligible.
No one calls a Jeep Cherokee or GC a CUV. I don’t think there are any actual rules governing this. It’s just weird gatekeepers like yourself.
You’re gatekeeping what an “SUV” is? The time for that was 15 years ago, your battle is long lost, 4 door hatchbacks with some ground clearance have been considered SUVs by the public since like 2008 when the subaru forester started being called an SUV. Definitions evolve over time. So do perceptions. You could fight…
I’ll be pedantic since you are, too. The photo you shared is an L320 Range Rover Sport whereas the three vehicles posted questioning your logic feature a full-size L322 Range Rover. The only BOF option of the three (Cherokee, Astro, L322) is the Astro van, the Cherokee and Range Rover are both irrefutably fantastic…
Gotta love these losers who blab about this shit on every SUV article. Get over yourself and keep fapping to your old ass poverty mobile minivan. SUV’s aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
I wanted one but shiny vampires ruined it
I missed the call for submission—think I had a shot at making the list.
If you are hauling that much, your trailer will also have brakes, and those will yank your ass to a stop pretty quick.
Finance guy who worked at Ford during that time. They made money on the Fusions, but lost money on each and every Fiesta & Focus. The sales were really starting to taper off for Fusions, so Ford in their wisdom (Hacket) decided to cut them off too.
It was always strange to me how cramped the D3 Taurus and D4 Explorer were relative to their external size.
Heck, different platform, but even the 3rd gen Focus seemed oddly small inside compared to my 1st gen Mazdaspeed3 (5" longer) or the MK7.5 GTI (3.7" shorter) that I replaced it with.
I wouldn’t be too worried about the LS. Lexus has shown at times that its more concerned with keeping a robust lineup to satisfy all potential luxury niches. Furthermore, the LS is always the platform for Lexus to introduce and experiment features - from the silly mouse pad/joystick control they used in the early…
Haha, yea wasn’t sure which one I was going to go with and I got lucky enough a picture actually worked I wasn’t risking Kinja with a photo edit lol.
I owned two of them, but I left after they discontinued the Fusion. Money to be made, or simply to handing it off to other manufacturers because nothing is available in the sedan segment?
