Again, as the above commenter said, the operator probably couldn’t see the info without an active subscription. There’s probably a special department that they’re supposed to transfer people to in cases of law enforcement requests, and that didn’t happen. Now whether that was because the operator didn’t follow

That’s the one with the 5-cylinder? Yes, I’d make an exception for that, as well as the RS 3.

But I’m not fond enough of the TT and TTS to buy one.

My best friend, who is 6' tall, hit his head trying to get into the Supra at the car show last year.

I was just sure the TT had been discontinued. But nope. It still exists, including the TTS and the Roadster.

That said, although I love the Golf and the MQB platform, I am a bit loathe to spend $60K on a variant of either. I don’t want my sports car to be transverse-FWD-based, ultimately.

Why didn’t the Z4 get iDrive 8, like the other refreshed or redesigned BMW models? It’s still on iDrive 7.

Absolutely an inside job.

1993: The Chevrolet Lumina — The early GM10 (W-body) intermediate sedans were generally poorly styled and lackluster-to-mediocre. On top of that, they were over-budget and late. It seemed that GM’s ridiculous management structure, bloated UAW obligations and cannibalizing product lines meant that it just plain cost

There’s such a thing as doing your job a little too well, Dodge. Sure, the Challenger Hellcat is mighty quick — it’s what Dodge customers, criminals and everyone else loves about it.

I was on the fence, but the thing that cinches it is that—for both pre-and-post-LCI F10s, there’s a chrome accent piece on each fender. On the pre-LCI cars, it incorporated the side repeater, whereas on the post-LCI cars, the side repeater was moved to the respective side mirror, and the accent was just decorative.

They do, but that doesn’t mean that Jeep has good profit margins on them compared to the larger vehicles.

I think this is also a move from Jeep to go upmarket. The Cherokee doesn’t exactly command a premium for what it is, and I can see them deciding to make their cheapest cars the Wrangler and the SWB Grand Cherokee. That would also eliminate the Renegade and Compass.

When she returned to get her two-year-old, a white F10 BMW 5-Series pulled into her driveway and a male passenger got out.

I have a 2022 X5 with the Phone-as-a-Key, and I use this feature when going to the gym; that way I can lock my keys and wallet in the car. I’m also able to tap my watch to the door handle and have it do the same thing, so I don’t even need the phone.

In many states, you can avoid having a branded title if you’re the owner when the car gets totaled and you buy the car back from the insurance company. In that case, the history report (CarFax, AutoCheck) may show an event, but no updated title gets issued. In those states, the owner is often supposed to surrender the

This is actually a bigger deal than it seems, because for Cadillac to do this, they probably will have had to put the XT4 on the Global B electrical architecture, where previously it was on Global A (which launched around 2010). In other words, the XT4 may have had an electrical overhaul.

“She take my money, when I’m in need/Yeah, she’s a triflin’...friend indeed.” - Gold Digger, Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles.

There is a surprising number of vehicles for which that is the case, but yes, it’s very odd when you notice it.

Right you are!

That’s true.

One wonders why GM hasn’t given the SUVs the considerable infotainment/electronics upgrade that the Silverado and Sierra got for 2023. I’d wait for that before buying one. I drove a Silverado High Country and was impressed.
