Honestly I think the performance should be fine (better than good). It will be faster than anything in its price range and more fun. Also, a bigger engine would require a bigger engine bay, increase front mass, raise the hood and cowl height, and use more fuel.

But - it has one characteristic that the Mustangs of the world doesn’t have - it can bring new customers into the fold. I was at the Ford dealer a few weeks ago checking out the Fiesta St. And I saw this gorgeous Yellow Mustang 2.0 T with a manual. I loved it! But the sticker price was >30k.

Autojournalist cliche incoming, but, steering feel. With a rear-engine and no weight over the front axle, this thing feels so alive in your hands.

I know.

Wow does this car bring out the stupid commentariat. Tesla managed to fit people and cargo capacity of minivan or large SUV into something much smaller. Is it good looking? Compared to what, a Sienna or Yukon. Yes. The driving dynamics will be better than any three row truck bar none because most of the weight is in

uuuugggghhhhhhsssssss.... When is the stupid “Long tailpipe” argument going to die? Its like birthers and 9/11 truthers...

A ‘98-99 Cadillac Fleetwood

To be honest, the Model S isn’t really the most stunning looking car (especially the bland front end). It’s all about the total package.

I wish this comment was at the fucking top.

I drive an unwarrantied 2003 BMW 540i6 M-Sport with 195k miles, and I prefer it to my 22k mile 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT that I bought brand new with warranty and all. Insurance is dirt cheap as well, because it’s an old car. You just have to go into the ownership with the correct expectations. I’m fine with spending

Even more trouble if software fix also changes the long term reliability on the engine itself, especially with complexities of turbo diesel combustion.

Fiorina is a delusional sociopath.

It’s incredible how she still considers herself to be a business saavy person. The day it was announced she would leave HP, the stock soared 5.2%, the single biggest gain in HP/Compaq history. That ought to tell you something about how the shareholders felt.

I wanted to say something similar, but you nailed it. I live in Lexington and have been to McCarthy’s many, many times. There are some wonderful people and fantastic experiences that you can’t get anywhere else in the country, but sadly it is a state with plenty of demons. To anyone who has never visited, please check

There you are sir. The 911-e.

I’m going to get burned here, but I really don’t care this morning, so I’ll say it now: This is not gorgeous. Not by a log shot. The Panamera and Tesla Model S aren’t exactly prize winners either, and yet they both look better than this.

You don’t necessarily have to look at classic cars as an investment. I’m looking for one because I’m tired of paying thousands of dollars on car repairs.

Air-cooled Porsches are indeed an experience. While I don’t think they deserve the insanely inflated seller’s market that’s going on now, they should always merit a premium IMHO. That said you do compromise when driving them, and they’re less forgiving; if you don’t want to compromise then 996 and up are still great

The 991 with the sport exhaust and the Macan Turbo sound the same - and both got high praise here and on other auto publications. And he compared it to the Jaguar F-Type, which has been universally praised for its exhaust note.

I do think people have a hard time understanding civil disobedience. MLK and Thoreau disobeyed laws they thought were unjust, but they willingly went to jail, because they were confident that the law was wrong and would be changed.
