“That’s where OLED comes in to play. OLED pixels that are black are really infinitely black in a way that LEDs can never be because OLED pixels produce their own light, as opposed to being lit from the back or from the side.”

1. my comments are more popular than yours. 2. you mad bro? jeez.
You still haven’t done it? Do it! Lol. Hopefully he’ll reply and prod you as well, but on the whole they are dead simple cars. The only parts that are expensive are the manifold pressure sensor, the ecu, and the distributor. Basically because they are no longer made. The secondary air injector for start up is pricey…
Still looks stupid. It could have been this ...
Fun little fact about Amazon: They use an algorithm that looks at things you’ve searched for for the past few days, i.e. TVs. Once the algorithm flags that you’re intending to buy the item, Amazon will ship the item to the facility that’s closest to your destination, ready to be shipped to your house once you click…
I once ordered a generator a few days before a storm was to hit our area. It came to $499 or whatever with free Prime Shipping. I pondered spending the extra $4 to get it overnight and decided to go for it. Shipped Friday, arrived Saturday, storm hit Sunday and knocked the power out for a few days but we were warm,…
Back when the overnight upgrade was only $2.99, I overnighted a mini fridge and a generator. For $6, I had a 55lb mini fridge, and a 110lb generator overnighted to my house. It was fantastic. Those 2 orders help me justify my $99/yr subscription every time I come up for renewal (even though you can’t do that anymore).
agreed... as a customer i’ve never had a better relationship with a company. package stolen (repeatedly) from my door step? refund. no questions asked. want it there tomorrow? there it is. I’ve even shopped on a products website, then on a whim checked amazon and realized that i coudl get it prime shipped. now i just…
Recently more and more of my packages have not been making it in two days. Which is ok, but if it is the same speed as not having prime, I might as well cancel prime.
Get it in a diff color and change the wheels out w/20s.
Looks better in blue:
I’ve seen at least a dozen of these testing on the Michigan Highways, and they look huge! The wing on the back doesn’t help that out at all.
Oh I completely agree about the belt lines. I still maintain that the picture makes it seem more awkward than it is, particularly because the shadow hides the crease so the side looks more like one big slab instead of something with shape, but I do agree that most cars these days are...bloated. It also doesn’t help…
I see what you’re saying, but I think this is just an awkward angle. I got to see it in May and it looks (and sounds) incredible in person
I was going to say the same about the profile. Maybe it’s just that picture but it’s not very attractive from the side.
I have found the car to be super reliable so far, but then again I am not daily driving it. For about 2 hours every week it sits at well above 4k RPMs, taking everything I can give it on country roads, and hasn’t let me down yet. Come to think of it, it actually has been running better the harder I drive it. Again, it…
To be fair, it was headlined exactly as @vondon32 put it.
I had the opposite experience but the interior is not s-class level. Obviously tesla invested more into the driving tech than interior. It’s nice enough for me.
Sure its the same money, but you don’t spend money on gas, almost no moving parts in the motor to break. No oil to change. At 15mpg (good luck getting the advertised mpg), it adds up to a few hundred dollars extra per month.
My ceiling fan, one click, is up to full speed in just a few seconds.
