The newer models are fine.

If only their components wouldn’t shit the bed after less than 100k miles. - Signed, Multiple VW/Audi Owner

Adam - how are the 75ts? I have the 65ts, and actually for sound... I prefer the airpods. I just like the 65t for how durable they are and great they are for when i work outside on my car or exercise and do yard-work. My biggest complaint is the sound quality, just not a lot of dimension to it. Not willing to spring

Just swapped my beautiful 1998 4Runner limited for a 1999 land cruiser and although the 4runner was great the land cruiser is on another level and I don’t regret it one bit.

Corporations never really did. And that’s why the people that want less government oversight and smaller government (aren’t wrong in theory but...) don’t know what they’re talking about. The government is functionally the will of the people, there are some notable outliers but corporations are never in aggregate going

My first thought was that Toyota brought a lot of expertise to the table, namely how to make cars relatively bland and underwhelming.

The OK Boomer thing is only a thing because Boomers got all pissed about it, and they were typically ignorant of the irony that they spent the last decade shitting on millenials. If Boomers were as cool and self-confident as they thought they were, then the label wouldn’t be as big of a sensation as it is now.

Fair enough. But where do they go from here really. The names at first were roughly aligned with displacement and generally that corresponded to greater power. AMG used to mean hand built engines. They were really special. The badges see meaningless and the numbers are also increasingly meaningless. I wonder at what

Kind of a dumb take. The numbers actually don’t mean much. “Their output matches what the 6.3NA would?“ They simply went to forced induction and didn’t want to make the number lower so some PR rep trotted out that rationale. The C63 has some 400+ odd horsepower. They could call it the C46 and have done. Hell. If they

You forgot avocado toast. They also know they need to spend that sweet cash on avocado toast. For the GOOD fats.

Because aside from a slight curve in the roof, most of it is MKVII except for the stupid snout. I’m actually looking forward to the MKVIII just so the prices for the MKVII Golf R plummet.

Thanks, I hate it.

Just... don’t buy the shoes.

Even if he still had the jet - the simple fact that he’s aware of the issue and is making life changes and making other people aware of these things, which is pretty huge. You can just as easily say his entire career is based on racing a car around a track that burns through fossil fuels, rubber, and a ton of other

I didn’t expect so many dumb takes in a single thread. It’s not like this is binary.

Dunno - I see a fair number of the A4 Allroad up here in the PNW.

Yep - I can’t bring myself to shell out multiple thousands of dollars to fill up my house with “ok” bluetooth speakers.

Do you love real farts.

Seems like a good time to remove airlines using the 737 from my flight options.

I can’t seem to get too amped about these “ecosystem” speakers. They’re expensive enough that for what you pay for enough of them you can get a real sound system. I have a hard time not rooting against all of them. Bose would be better off actually focusing on good sound. For portability, the UE offerings sound great
