Fair but probably second gen.

I really want one of these things. I just feel like the price point needs to get into the 400 range with the HD camera and cool features for me to justify it, for me personally. Is this actually going to happen some time in next few years, a-la new TV tech, or will they always be 1000ish?

I think they miscalculated with the 4C, like with the BRZ. The BRZ isn’t quuuiiiiite powerful enough to truly stand out, and the 4C is a liiiitle too expensive to be the second car for the masses.
