One. I’m not American. Two. I’m about as left as they come, but hey - an irrationally hostile response was probably a great way to get your point across about multiculturalism and anti-isolationism.

I’ve said LEGOs since the late eighties. Maybe it’s incorrect, but I wasn’t the only one. If a word is misused for over 30 years doesn’t it get automatically accepted into the English language and entered into the OED?

Wellllll... I think you’ve moved the goalposts a bit in this post from the previous ones, but I won’t harp on it too much. That said, Tesla represents the type of niche, high-risk ingenuity that was the hallmark of US industry in the first half of the 20th century. It shouldn’t surprise me, but it does shock me after

They’ve completed the car. Initial reviews are good. They have a line of people literally waiting for their max capacity for several years... provided the actual car is profitable (parts and manufacturing/marketing costs, not GAAP), and given the relative maturity of Model S manufacturing, I think you’re being overly

The neat thing about how this works is if there aren’t interested parties they won’t get the money. Literally 100% of stock buying and selling is marketing, positioning and hype. You’re shouting at the sky because it’s blue.

I’ve met one. But even at 26 she may as well have been.

Here is the real world. You can get pretty kickass financing rates from someone that isn’t a dealer. Doesn’t matter what you buy. I buy whatever car I want and have several used and new, and I don’t pay over 3% on any of them, and as low as 1.5%. Even in today’s market, you can get under 3% without breaking a sweat.

But that’s kind of the point. When used APR is like 4 percent and new APR can be close to 1 - and you have a 1 year old vehicle that you’re selling for 40 when a new one is 43 - it really doesn’t make sense to buy used. Supply may be tight, but I know for a fact there are dealerships in small markets that don’t give a

Eh. Not the same thing. All words have root origins based on the cultures from where they came - the days of the week come from Anglo Saxon origins - that isn’t the same thing as expressing or calling out to Gods that are no longer relevant.

First you’d have to establish that a 1000 year timeline is what it takes for cultural expressions to fade, especially after that cultural reference becomes obsolete (like God). I wouldn’t think 1000 would be the benchmark. I imagine much less. I’m just saying, not that ridiculous.

We don’t say, “By the spear of Odin!” though.... things eventually do fade.

Fine but seriously, what are the fucking odds...besides, we’re talking about sexy time with your significant other/whatever here. The only argument I can really see here especially for teens is an increased rape risk/things going too far. But I also see the hidey hooking up as pretty inevitable.

In what way is sex in public really that unsafe? I feel like finding random places to hook up is a fun part of youth. I did random shit like that with my wife into our 30s...

Jesus Christ. This airline deserves Jeff Smisek as the CEO.

I really liked this gray Corvette with charcoal trim.

Who would pay over sticker for a year old car with 20k miles? Jesus.

For what it’s worth, a used Tacoma is exponentially more reliable than a Frontier with less miles. Not justifying the prices but it’s true. On the upside I bought a 1998 4Runner over a year ago and it seems that no matter how many miles I put on it, being a limited 4wd means it will always be worth 6 grand.

For what it’s worth, the engine builder dudes on Pelican say they see less wear on cars using Delo vs Brad Penn. I switched to Delo a while back and I love it. I have a case of Brad Penn and a case of Valvoline VR1 20w50 if you want it!

I’ve never seen anyone pull out the tape on a tape measure to the EXACT distance they are measuring, some people have a lot of extra tape sticking out so I’m not sure how useful this is.
