Theres always something weirder.... but I think this Firebird "Kammback" is on up there. They made one out of a 78 Trans Am too. I dont really see the point since the way these cars are made, the area behind the rear seats is occupied by rear axle and fuel tank. There's no seats or even any usable luggage space back

The era from 1965-1973 was special, but to narrow it down, probably 66-71.

Just because it has pushrods in it doesnt mean it's "decades old technology". Overhead cams have been around since the turn of the century. It's like saying the Enzo's V12 is decades old technology because it using a crankshaft and pistons.

Not a good picture, but Tuned Port Injection does look fantastic. Its in the animated intro for the Two Guys Garage TV show even. It's a shame it's such a terrible performer. An engine designed to make peak torque at 3000 RPMs belongs in a truck, not a sports car.

Grand Nationals have been worth good money for a while now... compare to any similar vintage IROC-Z in similar condition and a Grand National is worth twice as much if not more.

Why do people keep saying things like this? The only thing the modern small block chevy has in common with your grandpappy's smallblock chevy is bore spacing. These are completely new engines designed from the ground up 15 years ago, and have since been heavily developed far beyond even that.

The tires labeled "Trofeos" are actually just the old pattern Corsa P Zeros. THey may still be cut slicks, but the tread pattern is VERY close to what its supposed to be.

Jalopnik got the picture labels backwards. The tires you're comparing the Trofeo's to are actually the P zero corsas.

Pagani said these were special for hteir cars. The tread patterns are VERY close, I think it's plausible. Now if there are shenanigans afoot, like a slick cut up to look like a street tire, that's one thing. But everyone is jumping on the "the tread is wrong for Tire X, CHEATERS!" bandwagon. That kind of deception

The tires you guys are calling hand cut slicks are actually P Zero Corsas. Look them up. They got the pictures or the labels backwards in the article, thats why tread patterns dont match, but the pictured tires are Corsas an Trofeos.

Look up Pirelli Trofeo tires and Pirelli P Zero Corsas. They look almost exactly like whats in the article. They got the labels backwards in the article, thats why the tire labels dont match.

Guys, enough with the lynch mob. Look up Pirelli Corsa tires... and then look up Trofeo tires. The guys who did the article got the labelling backwards. The tires labeled as Pirelli Trofeos in the article look exactly like the Corsa tires. The tires labeled Corsas look VERY close to Trofeos. They just got the pictures

Quite a lot of them did, but those jobs paid well so people did it. Especially during the depression era.

Way to be a piece of crap towards someone who is trying to help.

Hitler fed the entire Nazi war machine on synthetic fuel, he didnt even use oil because Germany had none. is this ideal? No. In fact he was very interested in taking some of the USSR's oil fields and failed. But at the onset of the war Germany had the resources to do it very successfully. It wouldn't be as affordable,

As iliketoeat mentions, this puts all the forces of the accident into your neck. You'll end up like Roland Ratzenberger if you're not careful. Thats actually the reason our 3 point factory seat belts allow for forward movement. It gives your body and head more room to decelerate instead of just forcing your chin to

So you're upset that the villains in these games aren't MORE like you? Thats kind of strange to me. I dont want a near identical likeness of myself in a video game to be murdered. War games are caricatures of war, with clear good and bad guys for a reason. No one wants to be that guy who just shoots the other guy

it's easier to blame inanimate objects than to correct the ills of society that have created these monsters. It's all about scapegoats, not about trying to fix our broken education, legal, and penal systems.

I thought it was the shagohod for a minute...

Looks like he had a blast in a car he actually drives. Props to the guy. He'll fix it and go out there again.
