That smallblock chevy distributors or timing gears can "jump time". Its physically impossible. These parts are locked together with nowhere NEAR enough room for movement to disengage and then re-engage one tooth off as if nothing happened. Your car is just slow and crappy, it didnt jump time.

I bet that 4 cylinder 2 stroke sounds incredible!

Dan Neil isnt really a car guy the way we're car guys. He always fawns all over anything hybrid or electric regardless of how terrible it is.

Im pretty sure a bunch of other guys already have this figured out, but my guess is that he's dropped a piston or lost compression on a cylinder, maybe lost spark/headgasket failure, whatever. Every time that cylinder goes to it's power stroke, nothing is happening, so when it hits the exhaust stroke it's pumping out

You know they actually found a 4 mile IROC in a trailer. 1986 carbed 305 + 5 speed. look for it on youtube 4 mile IROC. The story was that the owner was going to make it into a super crazy hot rod, big block chevy, just needed the manual trans version of the car. Got all the performance options but the cheapest engine

Now that I know this, Dr Phil's appearance in Eric Bana's "The Beast" makes a little more sense. Boring or not, he's a car guy. Thats cool in my book.

The 2010 coupe was boring and was trying to appeal to teenagers. The 90s GTS was by far the more attractive car, and this car is a nice compromsie of both.

Well the 60s was probably the peak of the American car industry. At the time we were perceived to be doing it better than anyone in the world. After the nadir in the late 70s, we've managed to finally claw it back in some respects, but still the 60s American cars are some of the last great ones we made in the context

I really like that bike, its sort of a slightly modern streetfighter twist on the cafe racer style. I'd ride it.

Id put it in a boring, lightweight commuter car so I could save gas money to invest in my performance car.

I wonder if someone won a fight they were supposed to lose recently...

This every EPA beaurocrat and environazi's dream. Just get rid of the old cars. Make everyone drive Priuses and electric scooters, all in the name of the children!

I like watching videos about riggers and their jobs, but I dont like to associate with them.

Really interesting. In the past hte open cockpit would have been considered far safer regardless due to the ever present danger of being stuck in a burning car, but F1 has made a LOT of advances on that front. You just dont see it as much anymore.

It seems to be good on the throttle, but off throttle, VERY rich.

Snorkel also doesnt keep water out of the crank case and transmission.

You do know who Eric Bostrom is, right? You dont just go up to Elvis and tell him he's singing it wrong.

Crappy copout response addresses nothing but lets them buy some time. They dont want to do the right thing for their customer even when theres enormous internet pressure to do so. You sell $4400 Chinese wheels, you can at least replace 1 wheel for this guy. And it has been confirmed they import wheel parts (not raw

On the original thread, they've discovered that COR imports their wheels from China and "Assembles" them here. COR is part of the same company as Strasse Forged and 360 and others. Allegedly MHT makes all these wheels, and they're all chinese. http://www.importgenius.com/importers/cor-llc
