Hennessey is a crook and scam artist and you guys should stop giving him press. There are so many legitimate tuners and skilled craftsmen in this country who will build amazing vehicles and not steal from gearheads and screw us over to do it.

Apparently the guy is working on a Reality TV show, and that was a big motivation for the goofy commercial. They took the engine out of the KX500 because those 500cc two strokes really are widow makers. Dear lord I love power but even a 250cc 2-stroke will kill you in a heartbeat. A 500cc two stroke is like driving a rocket ship.

And from what I understand these cars are heavily related to the old AC-based regular Shelby Cobras... so all the internal mechanical bits are a whole lot more common than the external parts.
