Nitrous backfires are common and avoidable. It's all about setting it up correctly and not allowing nitrous to puddle in the intake. Thats a pretty simple failure. Tire was too big for hte wheel well, pushed forward and walked up the wheel well and pulled the frame/control arm mounts apart.

The vast majority of cars would have no power assisted brakes or steering rendering any attempt at driving nearly impossible and dangerous. Supplying vacuum to the brake booster woudlnt be that difficult, but power steering would be. The other concern would have to be damage to the car from the unit pushing on it. I
