Don’t apologize for another person. But maybe recognize that your life is easier because of horrible acts committed by racists.
Recognizing is a start, talking about it is better, giving some of that privilege back is a real start.

I am so ducking tired of the “you’re bigoted against bigots” crowd. Not all viewpoints are equal, dammit. If your viewpoint includes dehumanizing a human, it is not a good viewpoint.

They do seem immune to the truth. It almost seems like they do actually know the truth, deep down. But as long as pundits repeat the propaganda talking points, it excuses the bad behavior.

This is what “Fair & Balanced” gets us. Faux News has been “Telling both sides of the story” for years now, even if there is only one side.

I’ve owned a small company like you describe. And every company has an HR department, even companies with one single employee.

If there is no designated “HR” person, then HR is handled by the owner/manager/whoever-is-in-charge-of-day-to-day-operations.

There is a weird dichotomy to the lack of masks. It’s awesome to be able to ID these racists, but horrifying that they feel completely safe being identified.

An impeachment seems unlikely before midterms unless he does something REALLY crazy . Most of these senators seem to despise Trump, but didn’t have the courage to do anything but endorse him .
