As far as sticking to one point or another, I was just combating Trump’s ridiculousness with more ridiculousness. The my comment linked above cites sources that would dispute Trump’s remarks directly.

Considering the relatively minor 1st degree burns Detective Sawyer suffered, and Alex Danvers apparently didn’t suffer at all, from direct fire hits, maybe the Secret Service agents got by just fine (except maybe a bruised elbow from falling down Air Force One’s stair truck).
