I thought I picked up a few lines where Ruth’s Liberty Belle accidentally slipped into her Russian Accent. I get the impression - just slightly - that Gilpin and Brie are playing their characters such that (even though they’re both good actors) Debbie is a little bit better with her acting chops than Ruth.
Very nice review. Just wanted to add one thing, the post-apocalyptic ending is probably an homage/wish fulfillment moment to the original ending of Army of Darkness. It seems EVERY time the franchise tries to go through that route something happens.
