My nephew watches pirated episodes of anime on YouTube that have been mirrored, put in a weird split-screen, and broken up into 3-minute segments to beat the copyright detection. These kids are living like fucking animals.

the current gen-z version of pirating is googling “123movie john wick” or whatever and then watching it in a horrific 480p quality with ads burned into the subtitles. hopefully this will push them to find a friend with a decent plex server lol

We cancelled Netflix after the Chappelle debacle. They keep emailing to beg us to come back. It’s sad.

well, china is sort of violating the sovereignty of Hong Kong constantly, so I understand where the attendants are coming from. You entire country is at risk of being wiped out and absorbed, you’re not going to welcome the people doing it with open arms.

Stop filming yourselves or your coworkers. Everyone talks trash about customers when they aren’t around, so stop putting it in the public domain. It is just stupid, and, if it wasn’t the person doing it but a corporate tattletale, a bitchy move.

I’m pretty sure if the DGA goes on strike, that means even stuff like reality TV will have to shut down, right?

Cathay Pacific Airlines is an airline from Hong Kong and existed before Hong Kong was a part of China, back when Hong Kong was a British protectorate. They were the second-best airline in the region (and still are), second only to Singapore Airlines.

Every company I’ve worked for or interacted with (and that’s about 70 a year) requires it. It’s part our site SOPs in many cases. Also any student would need it.

Every company I’ve ever worked with or for exclusively uses Microsoft.

I liked 2016 Ghostbusters a lot, I think the things that held it back the most were its connections to the Ghostbusters franchise. Contrary to what you said, I think that it would have been very well-regarded if the originals didn’t exist (or if it were released under a different name).

The dealers should have taken her seriously when she said “Nice inventory mate, be a shame if something was to happen to it.”

Two summers ago my friends asked me to officiate at their wedding. Although I have done a fair amount of public speaking, I wasn’t in a very good headspace thanks to my rampantly excessive drinking at the time, which they were unaware of. Nonetheless I agreed to the job because I was flattered and didn’t want to let
