Smart/Safe cars tend to attract Stupid/Unsafe drivers that can be more stupid and unsafe thanks to modern technology. Yay...

You have a good point, but you have to remember than when an Altima crashes, the dimension in Hell from which they sprang is opened, and the wreck is sucked back home, so there’s less evidence?

I can absolutely see why so many people are confused:

It’s the lack of money that is keeping those rural states “green” since their focus is on maintaining existing infrastructure rather than building new roads.

So, of course it makes sense that states people want to live in would be more likely to do more with their money than simply repave roads. Additionally, many rural areas don’t have much of a tax base and have deferred maintenance and repairs for years, so those projects are going to be a priority before they get

845-horsepower, 7,000-pound refrigerator on wheels.”

I drove past the Tesla dealer in east Las Vegas yesterday. (Which is conveniently located next to a Buick/GMC dealer, where you can buy an electric pickup that looks like a truck.) There were at least 8 Cybertrucks sitting forlornly on the front line, ostensibly waiting for buyers that aren’t coming.

Makes one wonder how many times the federal government is going to be recalled now that he’s in charge of that.

240 months! I am going to become the Joker.

That pizza delivery guy in the oncoming lane must have had a code brown seconds before the car swerved.

Because SCOTUS ruled years ago that police departments could make cops take IQ tests so they can weed out anyone with a high IQ.

Good news we recovered your car, bad news it’s at Picknpull now

The car went from stolen to totaled.

Imagine being one of the people that paid far too much for the last generations “Last of the Hemi” price gouging and seeing this.

LOL. No doubt!!

What could go wrong with Stellantis rushing vehicle production?

“I think that’s bad development policy, people in rural areas should be working locally or telecommuting rather than driving 3 hours.”

We’ve had self driving vehicles for a long time. Planes, trains, ships, light rails even buses. What they all have in common is that they only operate in highly controlled environments. Cars don’t. Cars are operating in the figurative far west that are public roads. Until we can make public roads as highly controlled

This was a big plus when we selected our Mazda 2024 CX-90. It has zero touchscreens. ZERO.

I’m looking at trading in my car in the next couple months, and while I’m looking through pics of available cars, if there’s a lack of buttons/knobs to control things like heat/AC and radio I just skip to the next listing.
