Still have my E36 M3 (and an E90). Had a heavily modified 3rd gen RX-7 and often traded drives with a couple heavily modified MKIV Supras. You’re correct that the Supra felt mammoth from the cockpit. Something about the seating position and the dash/hood sightline made the car feel much bigger than it actually was.
