Long-term strategy is pretty much a thing of the past. CEOs do what they can to pump up the numbers, put it on their resume, then jump to another company.

It’s just a game of Hot Potato.

The only thing I didn’t like was Layla holding Marc back to strike the final blow. Nevermind that they’ve both killed a bunch of people throughout this season (and this episode), and Harrow contains an apocalyptic murder goddess that is a danger to the entire world, but it’s supposed to be some kind of character

well if you don’t want to wait you should check out both he and berlant’s separate segments on ‘the characters’ - and watch tim robinson’s if you haven’t as well! it’s basically a bonus itysl episode.

The real big question of course is... how/when/why was Jake created as an identity? We saw how Steven came to be, and why, and when. So at what point did Marc need to spin off an even more violent, actually murderous alter which even he doesn’t seem to know exists?

Moon Knight was a quirky show. Imperfect. Often reminded me of ‘90s and early ‘00s adaptations.

A+ on costuming.

why don’t you try covering interesting films and writing interesting articles instead of this marvel crap no one with taste cares about anymore? this site is basically over

I really hope there’s 30 minutes of energy beams and yelling about the end of the world like all the other times!

A man gets attacked and all people can say is ‘Fuck Dave Chapelle’ Yes, the upstanding black and white moral folk of the AVclub comments strike again. I tell you if Hitler was trans youse guys probably would’ve let the holocaust go.

and Will Smith is a tool

Are we going to gloss over the fact that she didn’t even write that op-ed piece, the ACLU did, in a quid pro quo for a cool $3.3 mill?

This is what you moved from Chicago to LA for, right?

I agree with you about what worked in this episode, and you unpacked it here more eloquently than I could have. Another point of agreement: If I were a network chief, I’d give the Glovers and Murai a full-season commitment for a drama anthology series yesterday. But I still wish this season of Atlanta gave me more of

why is this comment chain the only comment chain that ever seems to be posted any time music is brought up on this site

Solid fucking cast.

Shout out to Elizabeth Perkins as the crushingly dry studio exec — she’s still got that sharp edge that made her a great romantic figure in Big and such an interesting character in Weeds.

Just being welcoming. You may not be aware, but there are alternatives to being a salty asshole.

Get rich or die tryin.

When this came out a few years ago, I was so excited because I love Bill Hader.

The one thing that has stood out for me about BARRY is just how much tension, story, black humor and drama can be delivered in the span of 30 minutes all delivered with wonderful direction and style.
