If it was their first album, that was 11 years ago when they were 17. Suffice it to say, as someone who seems them live on every tour since the beginning, yes they’ve grown. Check out Shelter Song, you might dig it.

This site has never been very interested in any music beyond top 40. Iceage is probably one of the most entertaining modern acts, and I dont think they’ve ever once been mentioned here. Elias, they’re front men, is one of the most interesting modern artists and definitely deserved to make the list.

I know everybody here hates him, but Morrissey’s autobiography is really great up until the court case part.

Most of their best work was after Eno left, but those first two albums are supremely special. No album is as smooth as Avalon.

I wish that Bloc Party was as good as they were with those first few albums, and I maintain A Weekend In The City and Intimacy are unappreciated classics, though Silent Alarm is a bona fide masterpiece.
