No, you're being overly generous in your interpretation. She says that 2 women on a ticket is "possible" but not "wise", and the implication is that 2 women cannot represent the interests of both men and women. The obvious question is; can 2 men represent both men and women? If you think that she's implying "no", (I

RIGHT?! That is actually the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

YES. This was my first thought. I'll join in on the headdesking.

I don't think (most) people are saying Jaime's been redeemed, so much as they're saying he's on the path to redemption. He's not becoming good- but he's becoming better. Also, he does have a (very skewed) set of morals, and it's made pretty clear how he feels about rape. So, yes, given this point in the character's

I am fucking DISTURBED at how many people seem to be confused about the fact that a man forcing himself on a woman while she pleads with him to stop is indeed rape. Regardless of their past relationship, regardless of whether or not she kisses him at one point - what was portrayed was absolutely rape.

The problem is that they sexualize abuse and rape, not that they show rape. Rape is not about sex.

We've read the books, so unless they *drastically* change his arc, more drastically than they've changed any of the previous character arcs, we know where he ends up. And without spoiling too much, that arc does not at all gel with him raping his sister.

It's strange to me how some people are vehemently arguing that this IS NOT rape. Really, what's at stake? These are fictional characters, no one's bro is going to jail over this. Why cant people even acknowledge fictional rape?

All this "can she reach a harmonious balance between grandmotherhood and the presidency???!!!" is code for: we don't want a lady in office because she'll get vagina all over the presidency and that's just gross."

This after Romney wasn't asked once about how his freaking band of creepy, khaki-wearing sons would affect his run for presidency?

And Romney has how many grandkids?

I LOVE how so many different students are involved. This is great!

That episode was just horrible, one of the worst things I had ever seen on TV. I mean did you guys see how much wine they spilled!?!?

I was totally team cake until that time a pie maybe murdered King Joffrey.

I'm sorry, in what fucked up world did someone think it was okay to play a song by a known abuser while someone was accepting an award for portraying any woman, much less one that is part of a demographic of women who are much more highly prone to being victims of violence?

WTH, LeAnn?

...are you lost?

I love Amy Schumer and love her show but this sketch made me so uncomfortable. Shit was just TOO REAL to get a laugh, but the message is spot on.
