This is exactly what I was afraid of after the double-doink happened: Nagy had a scapegoat to distract from his horrible offensive play-calling in the divisional round that necessitated a game-winning FG to begin with, and that he wouldn’t learn anything because he could just blame Parkey. And he hasn’t learned a

Wait, so players don’t get paid for pre-season, but teams can fine them for missing what are literally unpaid work days?

And yet anyone with half a brain who’s paid attention to football in Los Angeles could (and did) predict this.

Sean McVay in the week leading up to the Super Bowl decided to not have his team practice in the sound of screaming fans. He figured since the Super Bowl is a “corporate crowd” they won’t be loud cheering for either side. He really had no clue that his fan base is smaller than Trump’s hands and they do not travel.

This is truly one of the weirdest comments I’ve ever read in a WYTS. Your team is a game away from the Super Bowl and the old lady thinks it’s disrespectful to peek at your phone?  And you obliged?

Also just a huge indictment of how bad coaches are at adjusting, both in-game and (somehow) in preparation for a game. They all want to play the game on their terms, which basically means that a coach like Belichick knows exactly what you’re going to do.

More than one person familiar with him described — or agreed with the description of — Snyder as someone who behaves the way a little kid imagines a rich person acts.

I didn’t check the score at all on the way to the airport because my uber driver was an older woman who thought it was disrespectful

But it just takes the right quarterback and coach and leadership.

Counter-point: A clearly tanking team should hire an old mercenary QB who will, hopefully, use his experience to avoid the wave of unblocked defenders coming his way while protecting the young unproven quarterback you just traded a second-round pick for a few months ago, since the makeshift offensive line surely won’t

Sure, you could throw the young QB to the wolves behind the worst O-line in football.  But I’m not sure exactly what that accomplishes.

Rosen will be playing by week 6, because Fitzpatrick will be dead or dismembered behind that offensive line.

I feel bad for the guy. The GM is the one making these trades. They’re collecting a lot of picks for these trades but we all know that means this season is a wash. Not that anyone should expect the Dolphins to make good decisions with those draft picks. I mean, we’ve all seen them play over the last twenty some-odd yea

The last player to break a Big Mac sign like that was Bartolo Colon at the order kiosk.

I can’t believe this video doesn’t end with Cardinal Fan leaning over to try to retrieve ball from the now-busted M light and plummeting to his demise while hold ball in air in victory.  It seemed inevitable to me that would be the Cardinal Way.

sweet, i’m sufficiently sick of fucking football after this one article.

Whatever standard they decide on, I just hope it’s reviewable.

I look forward to the day when the rulebook takes four pages to define a clap.

AAAAAUUUGGGGGGHHH THE MULLET IT BURNS

Publix is pretty good. It’s true. I know Floridians treat the place like it’s the Vatican and need to calm the fuck down about it, but Publix DOES make a fine key lime pie.”
