Yesterday I read a Jalop article about someone driving 2000 miles in the snow on bald tires in an uninspected car and thought “man plans could not get any dumber than this.”

I feel like you have to make this calculation constantly when living in a city. To wit:

One: It can be both. 

The NFL’s development league is college football. The NFL’s modus operandi is to take young players and grind them into dust while underpaying them. There’s no “development” past a certain age here - either your knees/skull give out or you get lucky and keep playing.

It’s my firm belief that lack of a minor league team anywhere near Miami is part of why there aren’t a ton of baseball fans there. 

These are all uniformly and insanely ugly but not unique to stadiums - you see this sort of stuff done for any public facing project, be it condo, mall, or whatever.

I can’t help but feel that all their personnel moves, including continuing to prop Manning’s corpse under center, are attempts to keep that caller happy.
