My dad had a 1986 Subaru GL wagon when I was very young. I only barely remember it. He got rid of it in 1994 in favor of a Taurus wagon that was never reliable, according to him. It would have been cool if he had kept the GL, but I’m sure rust issues were what caused him to get rid of it.
