To agree with Pgoodso, yes, that was entirely the point. It works for any shade of color because they control which shades are even available. Choice and personal expression are an illusion to a degree because our choices are given to us by forces we don’t even know exist, and so far in advance we’re just caught in

Arguably the worst but also the best depending on how stupid you want your moviegoing experience to be. Connect to the plot? Nah, forget about it. But a cheap way to have a Universal Studios show? Sure.

Now playing

After seeing Godzilla Minus One in a regular theater, I saw Minus Color in 4DX because why not. It was both the most fun and dumbest way to see that movie.

Not adult swim, but this take made me laugh uncontrollably to the point my wife woke up angry/disappointed. (I don’t know how to add spoiler/nsfw tags, sorry)

It’s nuanced, in that sometimes bullying is good, like when Elon Musk gets bullied, or NFTs got bullied into worthlessness, or when Papa John’s had to fire Papa John.

To be fair, those moments were all in service of the greatest Change.org petition ever, “We Were All Busy That Weekend – Please Bring Morbius to the Theatre a Third Time.” https://www.change.org/p/we-were-all-busy-that-weekend-please-bring-morbius-to-the-theatre-a-third-time

And you beat ME to the “beat me to it” comment!

I’m not Ron, but I can’t imagine “we close deals for breakfast” was aimed at the writers. Seems like he was just being politically savvy because his job (and over 150 others) depends on it.

If anything, I hope this is a lesson for other Kickstarters that “If you leave the money in its own fucking account and don’t touch it, you avoid pretty much all fraud risk”. The show sounds like it was produced by... optimistic people.

Can you explain this a little more? Sounds interesting.

You mean the studios arguing the WGA is arguing in bad faith?

“Being part of a legacy revival is a huge opportunity—and for Bobby Lee, that goes two-fold, because it was also an opportunity to change his life.”

Ok but it would be funny if Elon sold the Twitter naming rights to Jack Dorsey and then Blue Sky just because Twitter again.

Entertainment is an older profession than any of the other things you’ve mentioned. We’ve been entertaining and storytelling throughout human history. Great entertainment can affect more people than any plumber, mechanic, or electrician ever could.

I’ve got Plex, so I’ll probably watch eventually too, but I’m not paying extra.

I’m not comfortable at all, I’m just busy desperately trying to pay my bills while rich assholes increase my rent, drive massive inflation, and make what should be a good income feel ever smaller.

Ok, but what if it’s, like, REALLY shocking? A-hyuh-hyuh-hyuh-hyuh-hyuh!

The fact this movie exists baffles me. *No one* really wanted it.

“Our lawyers say not to put this potentially life-destroying failure in writing, or we won’t achieve our mission of sending rich people to a space utopia!
