Man, these posts just come off as sneering, and a bit jealous.

By starwars ship do you mean an autotuned version of a rat screaming while being crushed?

It’s the kids’ attitude not the car that’s the problem. This part of the enthusiast culture is cancer. Building a car to piss people off his cancer. Building it to get hated is cancer. Building it to see the looks on their faces and how the purists are going to react is cancer. That’s not building it for yourself

I enjoy it, a fun, and unique daily driver for me.

Hell of a list, but for me, this is America, not Uganda or the Australian outback. I had warm clothes and water.

Maybe, but at the time I wasn’t quite aware of the situation past Reno. Weather report looked okay, roads were clear, and it was sunny.

I had a blanket, and water. From Minnesota I brought a winter coat gloves and a hat. It wasnt THAT cold.

Tire rack doesn’t install tires.

Hell of a day.

They werent worn out, weather looked okay. Im not remotely a wealthy guy, it was a gamble I took, and only sort of regret.

Yes, yes it is.

Thanks Gabriel <3

There’s something different about an AMG with an auto, vs any BMW ever with an auto. I just cant get into BMW’s with automatic transmissions. I have a 6spd TDI, and an old 911, both manual. It may actually be nice to have the auto a bit

Haggled, or walked. I’m not sure. Depends on what we’re talking about.

I think my concept of what winter is in Minnesota is just far different than it is there. Lesson learned.

I really feel some of the roads south of 50 are far more lonely. In and around Rachel area. 375, 6, etc....

thanks man, will do. <3

that is a LONG drive in that car....

The problem is technicians dont do tires... the lowest of the low does tires, right before they sweep the shop. It’s entry level.

Great story man!
