Flashbacks can be rough.

So am I. Where to next....?

It was the bomb cyclone. I remember reading that on my way home, and thinking... wow. Im driving through a phenomenon called “bomb” something. Can’t be good.

So what strip club were you on your way to at the time?

Are you cleverly trying to say my German muscle car is nothing more than a Dodge V8?

90 and 94 were both closed. In general the large brunt of the blizzard was south, so I figured if I drove north I could maybe get the least of it.

Did you get a new set? Can’t be good for directional tires...

Yes it is. Its weird how I feel okay driving a Benz auto, but could never drive a BMW one...

Thanks banana dude. I didnt really get burned as much as just... I dont even know that it would have caught the alignment. The car is very nice... it doesnt really need anything.

I got lucky, the C43 just has thumb knobs to adjust the lights. I pulled up next to the slipper lady and aligned my lights on the gas station wall.

Thats a mafia weapon if I ever saw one... I was going to say ak47, but that is way harder to hide in your leather coat. It also doesnt fit in the door pocket.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

Thanks!

No kidding. I am from Minnesota after all... thing is, the weather forecast looked decent. I underestimated the volatility of the western weather.

I doubt he even saw what plate it was when I flew by. I bet he cant ticket you easily, but he can probably legally pull you over for it. Realistically though, its our responsibility to abide by the laws of the state we’re in. At least imho. Ethically though, as a trooper, it would be shitty to ticket anyone for things

There’s more here on Jalopnik, and elsewhere... I have a podcast too, called “overcrest: a pretty good car podcast.”

Thanks, I’ve had it about a month now. Everything seems okay other than the obviously deteriorating transmission...I’ll fix it, and I’m still enjoying it.

I always love seeing the wooden cutout of the state of Minnesota. Even though I’m usually hours from home, it just feels like I’ve made it.

Yes, its an expensive submachine gun. Something I imagine being used by the russian mob as they drive behind the boss, who’s clearly in an s600.

Glad you’re still alive.
